Many congratulations to Max, who came first in the Water Safety category of the East Anglian Maritime Awards.
Max is a volunteer at #AldeburghLifeboat. As well as being a valued member of our shore crew – who launch and recover our Atlantic 85 and D-class boats – he is training to be boat crew on both boats.
East Anglian Maritime Awards is a unique opportunity to recognise the achievement of young people who participate in maritime activities. The awards are made for outstanding achievement within twelve months of nomination, by an eligible individual or team in any of four categories, emphasising voluntary and local community participation.
