Launched with Aldeburgh ILB to search for the overdue wayfarer "Oriole" with three persons onboard. A search was made of the coastline between Aldeburgh and Orford Haven. The casualty eventually returned safe and well

Launched to assist the motor cruiser "Winters Moon" that had made an "Pan Pan" urgency call reporting they had fouled their propeller off Thorpeness ( 2 miles north east of Aldeburgh). The casualty was towed towards Harwich harbour until the problem resolved itself.

Launched with Aldeburgh ILB to assist the yacht "Kraanvogel" aground 1 mile south of the lifeboat station. The occupants of the yacht had jumped onto the beach and were detained by the police. The yacht was towed off the beach and to the mouth of the River Ore where the ILB towed it up river to Aldeburgh for the police.

Launched to assist the cabin cruiser "Sea Joy" broken down 7 miles south of Aldeburgh. The vessel was towed to Shotley Marina in Harwich harbour

Launched to search for a missing canoeist between Aldeburgh and Bawdsey (11 miles south of Aldeburgh). Rescue helicopter, Aldeburgh ILB and Harwich lifeboat also searched. The body of the canoeist was eventually recovered by the rescue helicopter.
