Launched to the Yacht "Rosebank" with 4 perons onboard in storm force conditions. Yacht was eventually located 22 miles East of Aldeburgh. All 4 crew abandoned yacht and landed at Aldeburgh. Bronze Medal awarded to coxswain. Weather: Wind- westerly storm force 10. 30+ foot seas. |

Launched to the Dive boat "T-Bird" with a sick diver onboard. Diver had surfaced too quickly and was suffering from the "bends". Transferred to lifeboat and given 1st aid and then transferred to hospital by rescue helicopter. |

Launched to search for a vessel thought to be in trouble following a broken radio message reporting that a vessel was in trouble between Harwich and Southwold and more than 10 miles offshore. Searched with various other lifeboats upto 25 miles offshore. Nothing found. |
